We published JUDGE, the final book in the Wess'har Wars by bestselling author Karen Traviss in April. Taking on first contact, ecology, animal rights, and what is humanity, this acclaimed series is also known for its accurate portrayal of those in the military.

So today we received a great surprise--shots of JUDGE out in the field, literally:

Lois McMaster Bujold at WorldCon

As many of you probably know, Lois McMaster Bujold was Guest of Honor at the 2008 WorldCon, held in Denver just last weekend.  For those of you who weren't able to attend, Lois has posted her GoH speech on her MySpace page, right here.

I've been waiting for Nightwalker, the first installment of the Dark Days series, to come out for months, and was thrilled to get a chance to review it for Eos.  With the likes of Kim Harrison, Vicki Pettersson, and Jeaniene Frost singing its praises, I had high expectations for Jocelynn Drake's debut novel.  It definitely does not disappoint.
